Individual Counselling
At Janis Guthy Counselling, we offer individual counselling sessions in a non-judgmental, safe and comfortable environment. Our goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of your feelings, thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. This will help you to identify and break out of unproductive patterns and replace them with new positive and healthy patterns.
2.
Victims of Crime
If you are a victim of a crime you may qualify for counselling at www2.gov.bc.ca

There are many ways being a victim of a crime can affect your life. If you have been physically or emotionally hurt as a result of a violent crime, you may be entitled to counselling.
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) assists victims and their immediate family members coping with the effects of violent crime.

3.
Car Accidents
If you have been in a car accident you may qualify for 12 sessions or more if needed if you seek counselling within 90 days.
Often the physical and emotional issues are influenced by each other. Janis is both a Dr. of Chiropractic and a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Treating both the physical and the emotional may help you to recover more effectively from your car accident.
